Mid–Senior .NET C# Web Developer (Support & Maintenance)
Location: Pretoria (On-Site/ Office based)
Contract Duration: 12 months (01 Feb 2026 – 31 Jan 2027)
Working Hours: Full-time (8 hours per day)
About the Role
Our client in the banking industry, is seeking a Mid–Senior Microsoft .NET C# Web Developer to provide application support, maintenance, and enhancement services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring business continuity, system reliability, and the delivery of high-quality IT solutions

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and maintenance for applications developed in Microsoft .NET using C#
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy IT solutions in line with approved specifications
- Ensure application quality, stability, and compliance with governance standards
- Manage the full application lifecycle and keep systems current and up to date
- Implement enhancements and new business requirements as they arise
- Take accountability for end-to-end delivery, including documentation and training where required
- Participate actively in agile team environments and contribute to team goals
- Mentor and coach team members where applicable
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business value is realised
- Provide after-hours support when required
- Maintain knowledge transfer documentation for effective handover.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 5–8 years’ experience in application development and support environments
- 5–8 years’ experience in Microsoft .NET C# web development
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, advanced T-SQL, and SSRS
- Solid understanding of Business Intelligence and ETL processes
- Development-related certifications will be an advantage

- IT governance and compliance
- Application integration and integration testing (e.g. OWASP ZAP)
- Performance and capacity monitoring (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana)
- Business continuity planning
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
Important Notes
