6 month Fixed Term Contrat – BA
The Business Analyst is responsible for delivering business value through targeted technology and process initiatives aligned to business unit strategy. The role ensures business outcomes are achieved through clear requirements definition, solution design, and ongoing system support, while balancing local operational needs with national consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise business processes to improve efficiency and sustainability
- Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into solution designs
- Map current and future state processes and assess change impacts
- Support testing, quality assurance, and lead user acceptance testing
- Assist with data migration and validation to ensure data integrity
- Contribute to strategic projects and support delivery timelines
- Facilitate solution rollouts and provide Level 2 system support
- Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate system and process documentation
- Proactively recommend system and process improvements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst (Retail or Wholesale environment)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Junior Business Analyst role
- Retail experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of application stacks and enterprise systems
- Working knowledge of BABOK, SDLC, ALM, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
