Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a software development environment
- C#
- .NET 6 or later
- MS SQL Server and MySQL
- Proven experience working with:
- RESTful APIs
- XML, SOAP, WCF
- HTML5, JavaScript, Angular
- JSON
- Stored Procedures
- SSIS
- Message Queues (e.g., RabbitMQ)
- Visual Studio
- Azure DevOps / TFS
- Git
- Amazon EC2, S3, VPC
- SOLID principles
- API-first architecture
- Continuous Integration
- DevOps practices
- SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture)
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies (advantageous)
- Experience in financial transactional systems (advantageous)
- 3-year tertiary qualification in IT or related technical/analytical field (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop database solutions
- Design and develop user interfaces for web-based platforms
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support software applications
- Perform unit testing and code validation
- Contribute to migration of systems to web-based and API-first architecture
- Build and maintain third-party integrations for core business processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Update internal knowledge bases and Wiki documentation
- Collaborate closely with: Business Analysts | Test Analysts | Delivery team members
- Participate in log analytics and system monitoring
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the development team
