Location: Bedfordview (Cyrildene), Gauteng
Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Studies / Certificates
- 3 – 5 years, Industry Related Experience would be an Advantage
- Windows
- SQL
- A+ Certificate
- N+ Certificate
- Driver’s License – Code 8
Responsibilities:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Tie workflow to schedule
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization through correct admin
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with fellow staff, customers and clients
- Provide training for all technical aspects of the Smartfuel System both in hardware and software to clients as well as staff
- Ensure highest quality and efficiency of delivery of field jobs with no return
- Resolve critical calls with the intention to prevent them from happening in future
- Suggest resolutions for operational issues in the Technical Division
- Investigate recurring problems or fault and come up with a solution
- Generate leads from places visited
- Do technical site evaluations and customer interface to understand their requirements which can then be passed to other people to implement.
- Review and qualification of previous technical documentation
- Maintain black boxes, tools and tool list of field technicians
- Implement new ideas to raise technical standards and efficiency [Oil company accreditation, ISO, Uniform, safety accreditation etc.]
- Report to the Technical Coordinator and Technical Manager to insure that field issues are identified, understood and remedied permanently
