My client based in Woodstock is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

IT / FINANCE

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Project Management or related field
  • Certified Business Analyst (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, FTI BA Certification or equivalent)
  • Agile and/or Waterfall certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, PMP – advantageous)
  • Minimum 8+ years Business Analysis experience
  • Proven Retail industry experience
  • Exposure to Supply Chain environments (Demand Planning / Forecasting highly desirable)
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Exposure to AI-driven forecasting systems such as Relex Solutions (advantageous)
  • Experience contributing to Business Cases and High-Level Solution Design
  • End-to-end project lifecycle exposure (Discovery to BAU Support)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Business Case development
  • Assist in High-Level Design, Architecture discussions, and Requirements Definition
  • Perform feasibility and impact assessments
  • Identify business risks and mitigation strategies
  • Develop and execute the BA approach and deliverables plan
  • Align business requirements with strategic objectives
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment across business and IT
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders (Retail, Supply Chain, IT)
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications
  • Elicit, analyse and document Business Requirements (BRDs)
  • Develop Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria
  • Conduct gap analysis (as-is vs to-be)
  • Document process improvements and optimization opportunities
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Map and document As-Is and To-Be processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvement initiatives
  • Support AI/Forecasting solution integration into existing processes
  • Develop test scenarios and test cases
  • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Defect tracking and resolution management
  • Ensure solution readiness for go-live
  • Develop training materials and user guides
  • Conduct end-user training sessions
  • Support change management initiatives
  • Provide post-go-live support
  • Monitor system performance and enhancements
  • Act as liaison between business and technical teams for continuous improvement
