Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Lead) with strong process modelling and finance domain expertise to support a large-scale transformation programme.
This role is business-focused (not SAP configuration) and will lead a small team of BAs while remaining hands-on in analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and mentor a small team of Business Analysts on the programme
- Define and drive the BA approach, standards, and delivery plan
- Ensure quality and consistency across BA outputs
Business Analysis
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories, process flows)
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams
Process & Transformation
- Document and analyse as-is and to-be business processes
- Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
- Support business process optimisation aligned to transformation objectives
Testing, Training & Support
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support business readiness, including training and documentation
- Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience in a Lead BA / Senior BA role
- Strong process modelling and process improvement capability
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
- Solid experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Domain & Systems Experience
Finance (Essential)
- Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting
SAP Exposure (Business-Focused)
- Hands-on experience working with SAP FI/CO in a business analysis capacity
- Understanding of finance data, processes, and integration within SAP
- Desirable: Exposure to SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
