Are you looking for broader exposure than a traditional life-insurance administration post? In this role, you will be at the centre of systems support, client communication, monthly scheme close-offs and technical coordination with developers.
Join an established, independent financial-services business supporting a nationwide advisor network and a broad range of insurance, investment and group-risk solutions. The position is based in Menlyn, Pretoria.

Duties / Key Responsibilities
System Support & Developer Coordination

  • Manage and resolve system-related queries from clients
  • Investigate issues and provide timely feedback
  • Work closely with internal developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical matters
  • Manage system users and access rights

Client Communication & Support

  • Respond to client queries via phone and email
  • Provide clear, professional, and confident communication on operational and system matters
  • Maintain strong client relationships

Monthly Scheme Close-Offs

  • Manage and coordinate monthly premium close-off processes across multiple schemes
  • Ensure all data, payments, and reports are accurate, compliant, and finalised within deadlines
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues prior to final submission

Data Management, Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain and update system data and tracking sheets
  • Perform data verification, cleansing, and administration
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Support reporting requirements, including regulatory reporting where applicable

Financial Processing Support (Advantageous)

  • Assist with payment processing, allocations, and reconciliations where required
  • Support financial tracking and collection processes
  • Note: Financial processing and reconciliation experience is advantageous, but not a requirement

General Operational Support

  • Assist with reporting, coordination, and administrative tasks
  • Support process improvements, system efficiencies, and compliance adherence

Requirements

  • Strong long-term insurance industry knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans.

Education & Experience

  • RE5 and Category 1.1 exposure are beneficial.
  • Financial administration or reconciliation experience advantageous but not essential

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, investigative thinking and a practical problem-solving approach.
  • Able to prioritise calmly under pressure, manage competing deadlines and take ownership without waiting for a rescue team.
  • Client-focused, organised and confident working with both operational teams and developers.
  • Comfortable in a regulated, compliance-driven environment.

Remuneration
The proposed salary for the role is R25k – R28k per month – the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
