We’re looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer who lives and breathes Palo Alto Networks. This is not a role for someone who simply holds a certification, we’re looking for a true hands-on expert with extensive real-world experience designing, implementing, supporting and optimizing enterprise Palo Alto environments.

You’ll join a team supporting a large strategic customer, where you’ll be expected to think beyond day-to-day support, providing technical leadership, strategic guidance and security best practices while working alongside both customer and internal stakeholders.

RequirementsEssential Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Panorama
    • GlobalProtect
    • VPN Technologies (IPSec & SSL VPN)
    • NAT
    • Security Policies
    • Threat Prevention
    • URL Filtering
    • WildFire
  • Excellent Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking knowledge
  • Strong understanding of:
    • TCP/IP
    • Routing
    • Switching
    • VLANs
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • DNS
    • DHCP
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise production environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

    • Advantageous Skills

  • Experience with additional firewall vendors (Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower)
  • Cloud networking exposure (Azure, AWS)
  • Network automation or scripting experience
  • Exposure to SIEM and security monitoring platforms
  • ITIL experience
  • Relevant Palo Alto certifications

    • Experience Required

  • 8+ years of enterprise networking experience
  • 5+ years dedicated Palo Alto Networks experience
  • Proven experience working within large enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting strategic or enterprise customer accounts
