Our client is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to take ownership of its internal IT operations across multiple sites. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to manage infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, end-user support, and technology initiatives while driving innovation through AI and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IT hardware procurement and maintain the company asset register.
  • Support and administer network infrastructure, servers, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, and cloud backup solutions.
  • Provide first- and second-line technical support, including user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage third-party IT vendors, ISPs, software subscriptions, and service level agreements.
  • Maintain printers, peripherals, and desktop environments.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, disaster recovery, and business continuity documentation.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, Microsoft Defender, email security, phishing response, and security awareness.
  • Monitor and manage endpoints using RMM platforms such as N-Central.
  • Drive AI and automation initiatives, including Microsoft Copilot implementation.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years’ experience in an internal IT Support or IT Officer role.
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments.
  • Experience managing IT vendors and Internet Service Providers.
