Qualifications
- Minimum 6 to 8+ years of hands-on RPG development experience on IBM i platforms.
- Expert-level experience with RPG IV (ILE), SQLRPGLE, Free-Format RPG and CL (Control Language).
- Advanced experience with DB2 for i and writing complex, high-performance SQL for large transaction sets.
- Proven experience with IBM MQ, SFTP, and socket programming for integrations.
- Deep understanding of fixed-format and free-format coding styles, service programs, and activation groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Desirable: exposure to .NET, Base24, or Finastra Equations is advantageous.
