Job Summary
We are seeking a talented GC-MS Analyst to join our team in Gauteng. This is a permanent position in a dynamic FMCG and Other sectors. As a GC-MS Analyst, you will be responsible for performing analytical testing using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of samples using GC-MS instrumentation
- Interpret and report analytical data accurately
- Collaborate with the Flavourist team on research projects
Qualifications and Skills
Degree in chemistry or related field (MSc or PhD preferred).
Proficiency in operating and maintaining GC-MS and FID equipment.
Understand different columns used in GC-MS.
Strong analytical skills to interpret chromatograms and identifying compounds.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Analytical Chemistry or related fields.
