The new range of Lexmark monochrome multi-function enterprise printers from distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) are ideal for high print volume environments where security and performance are essential. Capable of printing up to A3 in size, and available in a number of models to suit various enterprise requirements, the Lexmark MS911de and MX910 Series incorporate a host of features and functionality ideal for enhancing enterprise business productivity.
“These printers offer advanced features and a variety of output size options that businesses of today need to ensure top performance with minimal downtime. These printers offer speed, connectivity, security, sustainable design, a user-centric interface and advanced finishing, all supported by the complete Lexmark user experience, service options and solution library,” says Michael Watts, Lexmark Business Unit Manager at DCC.
Print speeds of up to 65 pages per minute (model dependent) and time to first page of just seconds are enabled by a powerful 800 MHz dual-core processor and up to three gigabytes of memory, ensuring fast output to match the pace of even the busiest enterprise. Input capacity of up to 6650 pages with additional trays and feeders, with LED indicators to show paper levels, mean less time is wasted filling paper trays when the job is critical. In addition, the printers feature a maximum monthly duty cycle of 300 000 pages, ensuring they can handle the print volumes of even the most demanding enterprise.
For added productivity, the range is capable of scanning up to 140 images a minute, thanks to the duplexing automatic document feeder. Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet, multiple USB 2.0 and optional parallel ports as well as optional wireless-n connectivity for flexible printer placement. Mobile printing capability and support for nearly all printing protocols ensures seamless output from any device or application with printing capabilities.
Comprehensive security includes an optional card reader to confirm the identity of users before releasing print jobs, as well as built-in enterprise-class network security features and protocols designed to protect the device, information and the network. Secure storage is enabled with a standard encrypted hard disk, which includes advanced functions like automatic disk wiping and manual “out of service” disk wiping to ensure confidential information does not end up in the wrong hands. Remote management capabilities enable users to control device settings using a web browser for added convenience.
Sustainability features include energy-saving sleep modes, integrated two-sided printing, and EPEAT Silver and 2014+ Energy Star certifications, while a large colour touch-screen enables ease of use for various tasks. Pre-installed productivity enhancing features include instant access to forms, sending to multiple destinations, shortcuts for frequently used copy, fax and email tasks and scan to network functionality. Optional staple finisher can staple up to 50 sheets, while optional floor-standing finishers offset stack, multi-position-staple and hole-punch in popular configurations. The range also features the ability to automate folding functionality in optional finisher to create tri-fold or booklet-style documents with saddle-stitched binding.
“Advanced features make even the most demanding print jobs a simple task. This new Lexmark range has been built with longevity and durability in mind. For example, the photoconductor unit is rated for up to 125,000 pages, while the fuser can reach up to 720,000 pages. Replacing fewer components over the life of the product not only saves resources, but means less maintenance and more uninterrupted productivity. Enterprises can spend more time working, and less time worrying about their printer, which improves efficiency and the bottom line,” Watts concludes.
The new range of Lexmark monochrome multifunction printers is available from resellers and selected retail outlets.
