Kathy Gibson reports from Oracle Cloud Day in Bryanston – The new country leader at Oracle SA has been announced: Kholiwe Makhohliso will take up the position from 1 December.
She joined Oracle five years ago, beginning as head of public sector.

Kevin Attard, who has led the local operation in an acting capacity for the last nine months, will take up a new position within the Oracle EMEA organisation.
Prior to joining Oracle, Makhohliso was employed at Accenture (SA) for seven years, holding various roles including senior management positions for consulting, business development and sales. She was the South African nominee for Accenture Women in Leadership global award in 2007.
Prior to that she was a senior auditor with a firm of chartered accountants, a position she held for over seven years. She also worked as a chief financial officer in a national government institution.
Makhohliso is part of the Oracle’s Women Leadership network and, joining women in leadership across the globe. She completed a Global Executive Development Programme (GEDP) with Gordon’s Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS) and the 4sight Leadership Programme with Cranfield University and IESE Business School.
