The Senior Tester is responsible for the design of, as well as the running and monitoring of software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of identifying errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging. The Senior Tester also mentors and guides junior testers in the fulfillment of their duties. The Senior Tester provides assistance with the development of user manuals and guidelines. Recommendations for software improvements and upgrades based on the experience gained during the test phase of the software development must also be documented. |
