Apple will licence Dialog Semiconductor’s power management technology and acquire some of the company’s assets along with about 300 staff members.
Apple will pay $300-million now, plus an additional $300-million for product delivery over the next few years.
The UK-based company also announced that it has won contracts for power management, audio subsystem, charging and mixed-signal integrated circuits from Apple.
