We are looking for a dynamic, innovative individual to join the administration team at Amaro Foods Parbake (Epping).
PURPOSE
- To capture hardcopy documentation into an electronic database for Production, Maintenance, and Technical Facility departments.
KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Production Manager and will be responsible for the following:
Data Capture/Administration
- Upload and maintain hardcopy documentation and records in an electronic format
- Record and track all documentation received and captured
- General administration and project coordination as required
- Prepare source documents by compiling and sorting information according to specific instructions provided
- Capture information into pre-designated database system
- Combine and rearrange data from source documents and transcribe given information into electronic format
- Ensuring capturing targets are met as per specifications
- Perform additional tasks and activities as delegated by the General Manager
Data Control/Verification
- Reviewing paper and electronic forms of data for completeness, accuracy and consistency
- Verify accuracy of data from designated sources before entering it into the system
- Verify accurate capturing of data
- Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity supervisors
- Manage timelines according to project deadlines (complete daily time sheets
Risk and Compliance
- Comply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure compliance to all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping and pest control
- Participate in personal hygiene checks

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
- Grade 12/NQF level 4 qualification
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office
- English Proficiency
- Previous data capturing or experience using am ERP system is advantageous

It is essential that the candidate have a high level of integrity, a customer service approach and strong verbal and written communication.
The individual should have skills in time management, have strong attention to detail, be able to plan and organise and adhere to deadlines. Furthermore, following instructions and procedures and being able to make decisions is key for the role.
