An exciting opportunity exists in the IT Audit Division of Mazars; an international professional services firm, based in Umhlanga Ridge, Durban.
The role will involve performing IT audit’s and data analytics.
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / BCom with information systems / BCom with auditing majors/interest
• Completed or currently studying towards CISA qualification is a requirement
• At least 3 years’ experience in an IT / Internal Audit / Financial auditing / Data analytics environment beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Compile a permanent file (standing information about the client) for clients
• Conduct IT General Control Reviews
• Conduct IT Application Control Reviews
• Conduct data analytics as required by external audit teams
• Preliminary reviews of systems and business processes
• Documentation and flow-charting of business processes and systems
• Identify risks as input into business risk identification process
• Proactively report on actual work versus budget
• Prepare audit files with standard information
• Execute audit programs and record work done
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to address root cause of audit findings
• Manage individual productivity (include completion of timesheets)
