Purpose of this position
To assist with the gaining and development of customized, large enterprise value propositions for potentially strategic key clients.
The sales coordinator will form a key part of the enterprise team which will require close working relationship with the marketing-, data analysis- and operational teams. Great interpersonal skill is therefore a must. These skills will be utilized for client facing tasks at times as and when required. A flare for event planning and execution will be advantageous as there will be face to face interactions with potential clients. Your superior organizational skills, great command of English and Afrikaans and hunger for knowledge will certainly push you to the top of the heap!
The ideal individual will have the following:
- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree – Honors degree (preferable)
- Marketing and Business Administration would be advantageous
- Will be an excel and PowerPoint guru
- Be well verse with data analytics and Market research
- Have considerable knowledge of OEMS and the automotive industry
- Be a Team Player
- Business Acumen
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Understanding and passion for research, marketing, sales administration, and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Three to five years’ related experience in similar role,
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, time management and research.
- Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies (having a working knowledge of the Automotive- and logistics Industry an advantage)
- Ability to track many projects at the same time
