Do you have an Agricultural and/or operations qualification with an AVCASA qualification?
Successful incumbent will provide and oversee the daily operations and manpower for the workplace, planning, assigning and supervising of operational duties. This position will report to the Western Cape Regional Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations related to release and monitoring operations.
- Check & verify that all purchases are budgeted for and correctly allocated
- Ensure that stock on hand of goods are accurate and verified daily.
- Daily submitting of attendance registers.
- Service and calibrate all operational equipment and ensure that all vehicles are serviced and properly maintained.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationship by delivering an exceptional service.
- Ensure that monitoring, release & technical goals and targets are met.
- Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve performance targets.
- Do regular quality checks and ensure that quality standards are adhered to ensure that weekly monitoring data is correctly submitted and ensure that data is trustworthy.
- Manage & motivate sub-ordinates in such a way that operational requirements are met.
- Provide a safe and comfortable work environment and follow an open-door management style.
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
- HR responsibilities (hours, admin, leave management, performance management, discipline)
- Assist with GF120 Aerial baiting applications as and when required.
Experience / Knowledge / Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operational activities.
- Strong communications skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Earth)
- Business administration skills with good numerical skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple activities.
- The ability to manage people and have a positive solution-driven attitude.
