About the role:
The Test Manager is responsible to ensure that test deliverables produced are delivered on time and created according to the standard defined in the test method and are written to be reusable and auditable.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quality control of test cases and results of all the allocated items (per release) within your team
- Managing testing progress of allocated items within your team
- Managing resources in order to achieve deadlines. This will also entail that if overtime is required, the Test Lead will have the ultimate accountability. Hence, it will be his/her responsibility to ensure that each team member within his/her team will complete their allocated tasks as per the requirement of the project.
- Coordinate status reporting of allocated items within your team.
- Attending meetings and continuous and accurate feedback Test Manager and/or Project Manager
- Compiling Test documentation such as Test plans and Test strategy
Requirements:
- Matric
- ISTQB Foundation, Agile and Test Analyst Certified; Test Manager
- Formal Testing Training
- 8 years of Testing Experience
- Leading teams: 6 years
