A local Coffee Store is looking for a Delivery Driver Assistant for their delivery operations in the Pretoria area
Duties
- Prepare the days orders
- Pack the products ordered into the respective bag and attach the packing list
- Ensure that the packing list and items in the bag match
- Pack the truck with all the orders for delivery for the day
- Ensure that orders are packed in the truck in the order in which they will be delivered
- Ensure that gloves, sanitiser, and any other required PPE is packed and ready for use
- Contact customers before departure to let them know that you are on the way with their delivery, giving them an estimated time of arrival
- After sanitizing, deliver the customer’s order
- Ensure that packing lists and the contents of the delivery bag correspond before handing over the customers’ orders
- Check the stock availability for the following day
- Report stock requirement shortages for the next day to the Delivery Co-Ordinator
- Assist with roue planning
- Familiarize with routes around the Pretoria area
- Driving of the delivery truck when the driver is not available
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) system – GAAP, Micros, Pilot or similar system
- Computer Literate
- MUST have at least 2 years’ packing and delivery experience
- MUST stay in the Pretoria area
- Knowledge of Food safety
- Good Customer relations
- Understanding of COVID-19 precautionary measures
- Salary is subject to meeting job requirements and experience
