My client within the Medical industry is seeking a qualified and Regional Clinical Pharmacist that will be based in Cape Town and covering the Western- and Eastern Cape, reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, and the Regional Hospital Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading, managing, coordinating, monitoring and driving improvement in the clinical pharmacy services
Responsibilities:
- Provide Hospital-level expertise in Pharmacy Services.
- Ensure Business Units achieve targets
- Assist with transitioning clinical pharmacists into clinical practice
- Develop Clinical tools and guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Antimicrobial Stewardship will be a key focus area
- Elevate the performance on medication safety management
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Pharm, plus MSc (Med) Pharm, M. Pharm (Clinical Pharmacy), or Pharm D postgraduate degree is essential
- Relevant operational experience and application of clinical pharmacy masters in a hospital setting
- Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
- Contribution to appropriate industry conferences and journals
