My client within the Medical industry is seeking a qualified and experienced Nursing Manager that will be responsible for managing, leading and coordinating the nursing function within the hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in meeting strategic objectives of growth, quality and people.
Responsibilities:
- Optimal management and functioning of nursing operations and departments
- Working with a Multidisciplinary team including Unit Managers
- Effective planning and preparation of budget systems
- Knowledge and experience of Hospital Management
- Maintain and retain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively market the image of Nursing and the Hospital and promoting the nursing career
- Effective training of Nurses
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing
- Post-graduate qualification
- Current registration with South African Nursing Council
- Relevant clinical experience and knowledge
- Proven leadership and management experience within healthcare (ideally private healthcare)
- Basic understanding of labour legislation.
- Understanding of business principles and a commercial orientation
