Purpose of the Role:
- To serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for the purpose of the Bank technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
- Provide highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives.
- Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
- Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
- Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritise projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance).
- Serve as a “trusted advisor,” and a primary IT point of contact to business executives and managers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration equivalent
Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience
- 5 -8 years management experience
- 5 years developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios
- 5 year’ Project Management experience

Finance
- Control and manage costs in line with the Business Unit and bank budget expectations
Strategy, Design and Solutions
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, in order to support achievement of Business Unit outcomes.
- Partner with the business unit to provide consultancy and advisory services related to requests for new technology services
- Proactively serve as a “trusted advisor,” and act as the primary IT point of contact to Bank stakeholders.
- Build and drive successful relationships across the business promoting a best for business approach to solutions and delivery priorities
- Operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities
- Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the
- information technology department, and outside vendors

- Provide thought leadership on the future of technology as it relates to the Bank, proactive in getting to grips with leading edge technologies and understanding their potential.
- Ensure the business is aware of emerging trends, practice and technologies in the marketplace and how they may contribute to business outcomes and strategies.
