Job Advert Summary
We are currently looking for a Semi-skilled Technician – HVAC, in the North-West to provide HVAC support to the Artisan – HVAC with regard to reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment, within the service level requirements of the contract. Support the Artisan – HVAC with the HVAC workplace services, in a manner which achieves the objectives of the client in accordance with the Master Service Agreement.

Skills and Competencies
• Minimum 3 years’ technical (HVAC) experience in a similar environment.
• Organise, plan and prioritise tasks to ensure that work gets done timeously.
• Interaction with stakeholders and team – influencing and encouraging specific behavior.
• Interact with sub-contractors and suppliers when required.
• Knowledge of technical equipment and materials
• Have a good knowledge of machine tools, general maintenance.
• Familiar with instrumentation related to air conditioning systems and Building Management Systems.
• Experience with technical systems required
• Excellent skills with common hand and power tools
• Hospitality and customer centric focus
Qualifications
• Matric / Grade 12
• N3 technical qualification.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Delivery:
• Performs maintenance on all Air-Conditioning, and general building maintenance.
• Ensures optimal performance of all, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems.
• Compiles and presents completion reports on all job cards attended to.
• Ensure that all jobs are carried out in a safe and competent manner
• Clean-up work area on completion of a job
Service Delivery Management:
• Ensure repair and operation of all components, structures and grounds associated with the site technical power distribution system.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, and contractors to ensure customer needs are met.
• Do minor repairs to all technical equipment.
• Ensure the maintenance stores and stock rooms are clean at all times
Customer Focus:
• Work with teams to develop and maintain a customer-focused attitude toward activities
• Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns and requests about services
• Work with processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced
• Attend to and resolve all client queries timeously or escalate when necessary
• Follow up and follow through on all queries timeously and escalate when necessary.Reporting:
• Update and maintain all relevant records as and when required by your line manager.
