Qualifications and Competencies:
- Matric
- BCom degree in Accounting or Financial Management (either completed or in progress)
- Own Transport and Drivers Licence
Experience / Knowledge:
- Any applicable experience – advantageous
- Pastel Accounting (everything up to trial balance) – essential
- Microsoft Excel & Word – essential
- Experience in CaseWare – advantageous
- SARS E-Filing – advantageous
- Financial Statements – advantageous
- Auditing – advantageous
- Taxation – calculating & submission of tax returns – advantageous
Basic Functions:
- VAT Calculations
- Submissions to SARS
- Capturing on Pastel
- Assisting in drafting financial statements
