Position: Vendor Manager
Location: Midrand
Purpose of the job
- To facilitate and maintain vendor relationships between businesses and suppliers, negotiating contracts, creating vendor standards, compliance and finding the best available vendors.
Key Performance Areas:
- To manage relationship with Vendors, Business and Procurement.
- To manage performance of Vendors as per contract.
- To manage and maintain all contracts.
- To manage and maintain the preferred list of Vendors.
- To define, implement and manage the Vendor on boarding process.
- To maintain and manage the policies and the compliance thereof.
- To manage the ESD elements within the BBBEE codes.
- People Management.
- Provide monthly reporting.

- Understand commodities (Marketing, Facilities, etc.).
- Knowledge of BBBEE principles.
- Procure to pay process.

Qualifications and experience required (Must):
- Finance/Supply Chain Degree or CIPS qualification is essential.
- A minimum of 5 + years’ experience in a Vendor Management and contracting is required.
