Our client, an international and leading market research company is currently looking to employ a Senior Account manager based in PE, with an exhaustive “market research” background.

 

Requirements:

  • 7 years or more experience in a research environment or client interfacing role essential
  • Experience in a research agency preferable
  • Marketing experience would be an advantage
  • Senior level experience in a client interaction role
  • Previous managerial experience preferable
  • Tertiary qualification – Marketing preferable
  • Proficiency with MS Office packages – good Excel Knowledge required i.e. pivot tables and charts
  • Own Transport required
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to write proposals/reports and present in front of an audience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivator
  • Team player
  • Presentable, passionate and energetic
  • Solid knowledge of the research process and some analytical skills
  • Business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skill

 

Main purpose of the position:

  • The Senior Account Manager requires a practical knowledge and understanding of research processes, techniques and the retail environment.
  • The Senior Account Manager must be able to actively assist in growing client accounts though excellent client relationship management.
  • Build strong relationships with external clients and internal departments, monitor field progress, cost management of projects and ensuring deadlines are adhered to during the process.
  • New business development required.
  • Client relationship management experience is required.

 

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Manager:

  • Responsible and accountable for managing the entire client account (Client Liaison)
  • Ongoing engagement with Key Partnering clients
  • Developing the existing client account/business and new client business
  • Involve with Sample, Universe and methodology design
  • Final check of data delivered to client and manage data queries
  • Compile final presentation delivered to client
  • Discuss and Agree timing of data delivery to client

 

Account Management:

  • Sign off and monitor the project budgets with support from the Project Manager
  • Manage and liaise with internal service departments
  • Complete internal meeting information and feedback as required for team and attend the meetings
  • Maintenance of Report Formats
  • Client Queries
  • Ensure the capacity plans within the team are updated and adhered to
  • Manage Client Contract and Invoicing schedules
  • Key employee Retention
  • Training and career development of team members
  • Contribute towards the realization of company performance targets
