Our client in the Financial Services industry is seeking an experienced and mature Senior Financial Advisor to join their team in Port Elizabeth. Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Financial Adviser (minimum 8 – 10 years)
- Track record of successful financial guidance
- Ability to analyse market’s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate systems
- Current certificate of qualifications
- Minimum RE5
- NQF5 or CFP
Responsibilities
- Provide advice across a wide variety of financial products and/or services
- Assess a client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
- Guide clients towards a suitable financial decision (close a sale)
- Manage and grow client base and build long term relationships
- Network, generate leads and take opportunities necessary to meet sales targets
- Keep informed of new industry’s trends and research to offer sound financial advice
- Oversee the course of the financial plan and update it, if necessary, to ensure the best and most up-to-date advice is given
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations
- Liaise with providers and other any other professionals necessary to ensure best advice
