Purpose of the job
This position is based in the Eastern Cape (EL) and requires travel to sites with the purpose of monitoring maintenance work carried out per order, as well as remaining abreast of capital work to be handed over.
Reporting to the Maintenance and Asset Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Installation and monitoring of Maintenance Programme – preventative and progressive
- Contribution to Contractor data-base
- Checking maintenance work in progress in relation to order
- Tracking of capital project progress to ensure seamless hand-over
- Monitoring Contractor performance and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring record kept of stock and assets during maintenance and projects
Experience and Qualifications:
- Matriculation Certificate / Relevant Qualification
- Qualification in Project Management advantageous
- Technical qualification required (preferably electrical)
- 3-5 years contractor management experience in technical environment (fuel / related industry experience essential)
- Knowledge of SHEQ and regulatory requirements within the fuel / related industry
- Computer literate in MS Office
