MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Minimum of 6 months retail experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service
  • High level of energy with strong customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cooking Responsibilities:

  • Preparing food and cooking of meat on the grill outside the store
  • Plating food and making it look attractive to customers
  • Preparing ingredients (this will take place before the store opens and continues throughout the day)
  • Maintain a clean workstation, always wear gloves and make sure customers stay healthy
  • Ensure the correct uniform and badge are always worn
  • Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures, SOPs and health and safety rules and regulations
  • Any ad-hoc (other) duties and responsibilities as and when required in other areas in the store

Taster Responsibilites:

  • Sharing knowledge of Company products
  • Ensure the tasting station is clean, neat and presentable
  • Communicate with customers – selling and influencing customer to buy products
  • Ensure testing station is clean and all Health and Safety measures are adhered to.
  • Any ad-hoc (other) duties and responsibilities as and when required in other areas in the store

  • Appropriately experienced and qualified candidates will be contacted.

  • A minimum of two valid references must be available on request.
