- Matric
- Relevant logistics Qualification is advantageous
- Min 2 year’s Experience in the shipping logistics industry
- Knowledge of the Fruit industry would be an advantage
- Extensive Computer and Excel Experience
- Be willing to work overtime
- Must have own Transport
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive booking, Determine Protocol & Handling Requirement Process Operations of Consignment
- Expeditiously consigning of client shipments
- Ensure all Regulations are met and in accordance with the commodity and import country profile
- Prepare all export documents within required time-frame and in relation to Customer Requirements
- Manage data for shipments by providing instructions & support for all steps of Certification
- Complete all Documentation submissions accurately and according to Client Instructions
- Finalise and transmit Correctly Completed Documentation within our service delivery undertaking.
- Effectively Facilitate all aspects required & process any additional requests for successful delivery.
- Record keeping, Data maintenance & communication in accordance with company SOP
- Update, Monitor and Collate all shipment details & Review In Transit Status
- Scheduled & Regular Reporting to Client regarding all aspects of documentation
- Ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures are followed
- Manage all communication with Export authorities & Role-players
- Able to prioritise each client shipping consignees and special documentation requirements
- Enjoy that LogisTex is always update with any specific instructions
- Ensure that you understand the various markets and your products 0 This includes market requirements which are constantly changing, these notices need to be studied and queried if there are any uncertainties
- Clients email address need to be kept up to date for the various communication which is sent out by the system
- Need to ensure that special instructions are followed and documented, and any discrepancies need to be communicated to the clients.
- Maintain awareness of documentary regulations affecting the international movement of cargo & arrange all required compliance aspects.
- You need to be accountable for ensuring data integrity and operational excellence for all shipments.
- Monitor, provide response & Resolve all customer inquiries and requests.
- Provide efficient delivery logistics through data management & documentation.
- Follow customer SOP’s and work in close cooperation with partner Account Managers
- Need to understand the Industry, and know when the peak seasons is
- Need to maintain a high level of expectation to our clients, and make the extra and necessary steps to achieve this.
- Develop & Maintain Collaborative relationship with clients (Externally)
- Develop & Maintain a mutually respectful/beneficial relationship with all co-workers (Internally)
- Communicate with Management to resolve any customer queries outside your control/have no knowledge of. (Internally)
