Job Purpose:
- The provision of learning and development processes (including learning management systems) in order to develop the professional, business and/or technical skills.
- Responsible for maintaining, publicising and promoting a catalogue of learning and development activities.
- Designing, creating, packaging, maintaining and managing development.
- Where required, designing, configuring and testing learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of programmes of learning, planning and scheduling the delivery of learning activities for both internal staff and clients
- Set up technical training environment with replication of the product to ensure efficient knowledge transferÂ
- Delivering learning activities, covering relevant knowledge, techniques and skills using a wide variety of methods, equipment and materials specific for the organisation’s product
- Advising and assisting where necessary and ensuring that the practical work complements and effectively underpins the theoretical learning using both remote training and on insight training forums.Â
- Creating, scheduling and/or administering the training about changes and improvements that should be made using Moodle.Â
- Designing learning environments. Developing and adapting formal and informal learning activities, incorporating relevant business scenarios and case studies.
- Providing leadership, advice and coaching to colleagues.
- Determining the structure and content of learning materials and components and course schedules as well as evaluation exercises
- Specifying learning interventions to meet the requirements of groups or individuals.
- Evaluating and reporting the business benefits of learning and development programmes.
- Designing, developing and delivering learning opportunities and is able to adapt material as required to meet the needs of trainees.
- Sources and liaises with external development providers to meet requirements outlined in learning plans.
- Ascertaining learning needs and establishing guidelines for the design of learning materials.
- Planning the production of training materials.
- Supervising the design and building of specific courses or training schemes.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
Skills / Experience:
- Relevant IT Training experience.
- Must be well spoken and an enthusiastic team player.
- Must be able to positively influence team members.
- Must be self-motivated and organised.
- Must be able to display creativity and innovation in applying training solutions.
