Capacity planning Plan
Assess and Monitor production schedule in line with the delivery schedule.
Capacity planning in line with Master Production schedule.
Finance
Prepare, Implement and Control production/operations budget.
Production
Ensure production is in line with customer requirements.
Manufacturing of products within agreed time lines and costs.
Ensure productivity improvements.
Policies/Procedures
Ensure 100% compliance to Company policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to the prescribed Quality and SHE management standards.
Rail logistics
Ensure that rail logistics (delivery and supply) conform to client requirements.
Liaise with Group (local and international) regarding rail requirements.
Accurate recordkeeping of all rail stock.
Maintenance
Manage maintenance to ensure optimum availability of Plant and Equipment.
People Management
Manage team performance and relationships.
Prepare business unit reports.
Compliance
Ensure compliance culture in the business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Three years Mechanical or Industrial Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- 10 years in Mechanical or Industrial engineering environment.
- Proven record in management within an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Rail engineering experience would be an added advantage.
