JOB DESCRIPTION
A Junior Business Analyst will support the project team, through gathering, analysing and articulating information into a state that can drive informed decision making across the project. A Junior Business Analyst will support and receive guidance from the Senior Business Analyst
The critical responsibilities of this role are descibed below. They may be subject to reasonable changes from time to time in line with business needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather information for the project as requested. Information gathering includes data gathering, interviews and workshops, market research and best practice research on a variety of topics.
- Analysing of information to find tangible facts / solutions to aid in decision making and solution development for the client on the project.
- With the guidance of the Senior Business Analyst, articulate the findings of any analysis done, into an applicable format, to present and explain to the client. The articulation of data and analysis can be in any of the following forms: PowerPoint presentations, Excel sheets and tables, Power BI Dashboards, drafted emails, or Word Documents.
- Support Senior Business Analysts to deliver on the objectives of the project / work stream
- Report on all project work carried out as required by the implemented project management methodology / Project Management Office (PMO)
- Escalate any support required to a Senior Business Analyst or the Programme Manager
- Ensure you deliver on the client’s objectives in a professional manner that advocates the Transnova brand
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A high preference for a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in: Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or Engineering
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Vacation work experience (ideally in SCM, consulting, data science, manufacturing, or process engineering)- Strong analytical ability- Strong verbal and written communication abilities – Problem solving skills- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
