Sales & Marketing Manager/Chief Growth Officer:
We’re now looking for a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial, and ambitious leader to drive growth inSouth Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. As Chief Growth Officer you will be in charge of all the company’s revenue streams. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth, by leveraging and aligning all revenue-generating channels:- Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience/Customer Success.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in industry-related field or similar
5 years experience in a similar senior or executive role
Management of, or founding of, a small to medium-sized company in a similar industry – SaaS Business a massive bonus
Experience in dealing with enterprise-level customers
Ability to manage different kinds of team member (sales, marketing, customer success)
Attributes:
Highly charismatic and has a strong personal brand
Preferably knows EVERYONE in Agency Land, and the Marketing or Insights leaders at enterprise organisations.
Preferably someone who started, or ran a technology/marketing startup with a heavy focus onB2B marketing and utilizing a Lean Startup mentality.
Definitely require someone who’s willing to roll up their sleeves and build the systems required, run the campaigns when necessary, and get the sale.
No ivory-tower managers.
We need doers, who can set an example and lead by example.
This role requires good knowledge and experience in social marketing, search, PR, email marketing, SEO, content creation and strategy, inbound marketing, and lead generation.
Have incredible writing skills
Be able to copy-edit the work of others with ease, while also teaching and guiding the team to deliver quality outputs
