My client, an established FMCG company, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to understand the role of IT systems in the organization and determine the best technologies to increase an efficiency and effectiveness. You will be required to optimize business processes using workflow and automation technologies and oversee the installation, configuration and testing of systems. Duties:

  • Ensure requirements set by the business are captured and documented correctly
  • Support MS Dynamics NAV users on the Finance Modules
  • Solving Business requirements using current or new best of breed applications
  • Maintenance and growth of all internal business systems
  • Build effective relationships with clients (mostly internal) to develop joint vision for projects
  • Manage Client expectations through communications regarding requirements and changes
  • Use negotiation skills to build final consensus on set of requirements from all stakeholders
  • Ensure Stakeholders understand implications of their decisions
  • Determine operational objectives by analysing business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Design new computer systems by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Develop an understanding of how present and future business needs will impact solutions
  • Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
  • Support Finance Department on current ERP system
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
  • Apply automation where applicable
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users on relevant systems
  • Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends

 Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or similar financial qualification with relevant certifications
  • At least 5 years MS Dynamics NAV systems experience
  • Office 365 / SharePoint Online / Azure experience
  • Good verbal and communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Well organised with understanding of business processes and systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong computer literacy in relevant applications
  • Solid understanding of planning / project principles, tools and techniques
  • Good understanding of Database design and structures
  • Experience in Workflow and automation
  • Experience in SQL scripting
  • Solid experience in BI and Reporting Tools
  • Experience in ERP a definite plus
