Recruiting a powerhouse Lead IT Support (Team Lead) responsible for effectively managing and handling client queries and support questions.
The Position: We’re looking for a Lead IT Support Team Lead (Permanent Employment) to build, implement and maintain Linux Infrastructure in a Cloud platform built on Centos Linux, MySQL, Nginx, HAProxy, MongoDB, REDIS, PhP, AWS and MS Azure. The pay range on offer is R40 000.00 to R45 000.00 Per Month.
Requirements:
- Completed Matric – essential
- Completed Degree in Computer Science or similar – essential
- Completed IT Qualification – CCNA / LPI / RHCE / CompTIA / Linux + – essential
- Minimum 2 years Team Lead experience – essential
- 5+ years Technical experience in a Linux environment
- Strong working knowledge and experience with RedHat Linux, IP Tables, Nginx, HAproxy, PhP Configuration, VPN Technologies, MySQL, PostgreSQL Servers, MongoDB and CSV Files – essential experience
- Remote Desktop and Bash scripting – essential
- Good Cloud / Network / Information Security / IVR knowledge and experience – essential
- PureCloud knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT Support team
- Effectively manage and handle client queries
- Implement, monitor and maintain the installation of products for clients
- Build and maintain Linux Infrastructure
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues
- Ensure operations security
- Training staff on new technologies
- Automating daily operations
- Monthly reporting
- Driving IT changes
- Managing the Nagios monitoring system
- Install / repair and configure updates to specifications
- Log bug reports
- Improve standard operating procedures
- Advise on new features of products
- Refer major system problems to third-party suppliers
