BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The main purpose of the role is to assist within the NPD department with weighing, blending and dispatching orders.
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent NQF (with Maths and or Science)
Knowledge & Experience
- Batching & blending experience would be advantageous
- Unity knowledge would be advantageous
- Knowledge of stock control would be advantageous
- Knowledge of ingredients would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure new product spice blends are weighed, blended and dispatched as per requirements
- To ensure stock levels are monitored
- Responsible for ordering stock
- Responsible for collection and delivery of samples and or ingredients
Requirements:
- Basic numeric skills
- Attention to deal
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role is advantageous
- FMCG experience advantageous
- Driver’s License essential
- ERP systems experience
- Must be able to work a 2 shift pattern (2 weeks day [7:30 – 5pm] and 2 weeks night [5:30pm – 5:30am].
