• Oversee the development and implementation of Sector Skills Plan, Strat Plan and Annual Performance Plan to identify effective interventions for skills development in the food and beverages manufacturing sector.
  • Develop Grant Funding Model and Grant Funding Strategy for the organization
  • Develop Research Strategy and Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
  • Oversee management of organizational performance
  • Lead in the development and implementation of grants for the sector
  • Management of Business Chambers in the food and manufacturing sector.
  • Management of stakeholders such as employers, learners, cooperatives, Non-profit making Organisations.
  • Act as an advisor to the CEO and Board on the development and implementation of grants and other skills development initiatives.
  • Management of research commissioned by the SETA and sector at large.
  • Oversee the implementation of learning programmes (i.e. learnerships, undergraduate bursaries and postgraduate research bursaries, Internships, workplace placements, Artisan, etc.)
  • Management and coordination of business chambers in the food and beverages manufacturing sector
  • Risk management
  • Budget Planning
