Our client, a national entity, is currently looking to employ an experienced Senior Labour Consultant / Practitioner (LLB) at their Port Elizabeth office.
The individual will travel extensively across the Eastern Cape to attend to:
- Disciplinary proceedings
- Retrenchment proceedings
- Consultations
- Counselling sessions
- Drafting of documentation (contract of employment; hearing notices etc)
- The individual will also be expected to sign up new clients in order to assist in the growth of the business.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- The candidate must possess their own reliable vehicle;
- The candidate must be willing to travel extensively for work purposes;
- Knowledge of labour legislation will be advantageous;
- The individual must be able to speak/read and write English/Afrikaans;
- The individual must possess over at least one year Labour Law experience.

To sum up the primary responsibilities :
- Proactively attending to day to day disciplinary cases and / or CCMA cases in a professional manner, and
- Proactively assisting with business growth, using their business network to promote the brand.
