RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers
? Travelling to demonstrate products and educating potential customers about the functions of theproduct
? Fully understanding customer’s needs and requirements, regarding customers’ processes
? Providing advice about the advantages of software, services, equipment or products
? Persuading potential customers to purchase products, leading price negotiations and closing sales
? Advising customers of updates and new technologies
? Being familiar with competitors’ activities and products
? Putting together proposals and tender documents
? Travelling to and attending meetings
? Meeting sales and commission targets
? Maintaining database
? Weekly sales and activity reports
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
? Proven relevant, solution selling sales experience
? Able to demonstrate a proven track record of over-achieving against set goals and sales targets,with a minimum of 5 years’ technical sales solution selling experience
? Experience working with Microsoft Navision, would be a nice to have
? Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
? Computers use competency, MS Office
? Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
? Self-motivated and driven, and have ability to deal with target-led pressures
? Valid matric certificate, and or relevant qualifications.
? Experience in the mining market, a must
