A well-established Food Processing company requires the above to manage and drive the Staff and other resources to pack the product that is on specification and to ensure that production costs and goals are achieved.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Production and or Operations Management or related will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience Managing a large team in a Production environment is essential.
  • Must be computer literate M/S Word, and Excel.
  • The successful candidate must be willing to work shifts and be part of the maintenance team outside of peak periods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing, planning and executing the packing of stock on a Production Line, insuring goals and quality is achieved.
  • Addressing and identifying areas and reasons for poor production.
  • Ensuring the adherence to Local and International Food Safety standards and requirements.
  • Report equipment failure and maintenance requirements to the Engineering Department.
  • Record all relevant production and technical data, utilizing various reports such as Dashboards to measure against targets.
  • Identify development areas, manage staff performance, control all employee relations, disciplinary, and grievance related matters.
  • Overseeing and planning of staff, stock and other resources with internal departments.
  • Overseeing and presenting daily production progress and reports at Management meetings.
