Job Purpose:Ensuring the efficiency and productivity of the Branch, Warehouse, Production and Distribution functions
Qualifications
Diploma Logistics Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of COD customer collections & deliveries
- Monitor warehousing spending costs
- Maintained neat and tidy at all times- including perimeter of building
- Ensure sales orders are processed and delivered timeously
- Accurate and efficient stock counts
- FIFO stock rotation
- Efficient and accurate receiving of stock – notifying branches of differences
- Follow up on in-transit; inbound and customer queries
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene practices
- Follow up on delivery queries
- Accurate stock order replenish
- Drive cost reduction within the branch
- General Administration
- Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Liaise with Telesales and Telesales supervisor on all aspects of customer deliveries
- Credit control on credit approval for customers
- Accurate daily processing and maintaining of deposits and orders
- Staff management
Requirements:
- 5 years in production and warehousing
- Vast experience in Warehousing and Distribution
- Supervisory skills
- Budget management
- Continuous improvement
