Short Summary:
The main purpose for this position is to plan and procure all specialized engineering and project materials, manage stock levels of all the store items, source pricing and availability of bill of material lists (BOM).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for interpreting all items on the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Responsible for sourcing pricing and availability of all technical and standard store items.
- Management BOM list, comparing and compiling prices and reporting to the Project Engineers.
- Execute part of ordering, manage lead times, and ensure full kit delivery for projects.
- Compile PPE matrix for SOILL group and review annually for approval by management.
- Execute PPE procurement.
- Manage stock levels of PPE in PPE store.
- Correct allocation of PPE according to PPE matrix.
- Replenish and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained for all store items.
- Draw up cost reports for project spend on capex programs (DMS).
- Critical spares per division/ machine to be stock listed.
Key Competencies:
Education and skills:
- Grade 12/ Technical tertiary qualification.
- Planning, Procurement and Warehouse Management qualification will be advantageous
Experience. - Minimum of 3-5 years store experience.
- Solid understanding of Store Principals and Inventory Management.
- Working knowledge of SAP/ equivalent is essential.
- Microsoft Office and Store-Management System.
