You want to take the next step in your career. You are a qualified PR Eng or PRTech Eng and have done your hours in signing off designs and doing your own. You love renewable energy and would like to make an impact in this growing industry.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
This is a new role and you will take responsibility for all designs relating to PV projects for Johannesburg and surrounds. You will also do designs yourself but you are the go to person for ensuring designs meet the requirements. This is your passion and you always wanted to head up a division that you can grow yourself.
You will be travelling to Mpumalanga on occasion and take care of projects around JHB and so assist the company to grow as a whole too.
Where you’ll be doing it
You will be working for a leading renewables energy company specializing in off-grid and grid-tied solutions. Currently you will be the first of this division in Joburg but you have a fabulous team that backs you in both Joburg and Cape Town. You enjoy working for a fast-paced and dynamic company, which this company definitely is!
What you’ll need
You have an electrical qualification and are an ECSA registered PR Eng. or PR Tech Eng. This is a MUST as you are the one signing off the drawings. You have some supervisory experience and at least 3-5 years’ experience in the electrical industry. You are a team player but can work alone and enjoy working on more than one project at a time. You will need to travel to site occasionally. You are also an excellent communicator
