• REPORTS TO: Manager Technical Skills Academy

DUTIES:

  • Management and delivery of all administration functions for the Technical Skills Academy (TSA) – learner administration, procurement, communication, etc.
  • Cost/revenue management and control.
  • Effective administration and support to ensure successful training delivery.
  • Customer support (TSA, site, company SDF, site TDO’s, etc.).
  • L & D administration services (e.g. contracts, grants, rebates, etc.).
  • General management & compliance support to the academy manager.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 – 10 years Training experience in a training environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance capacity in a heavy industrial industry.
  • Basic Instrumentation knowledge and experience.
  • Cost/revenue control and procurement related experience will be advantageous.
  • Potential to assume wider and higher responsibilities with appropriate development path.
  • Experience and understanding of Digital Technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (Mathematics and Science)
  • Qualified Artisan – Electrician (MQA Learnership Route) / Millwright
  • Certified Courses in Basic Instrumentation including Siemens PLC will be advantageous.
  • National N6 Electrical Engineering Diploma will be advantageous
  • Registered Assessor and Moderator
  • OD-ETDP Certificate will be advantageous
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office)
