Our client, a market leader in their field of specialty, is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales and Trade Analyst. This position will be based in East London. Main purpose of the position:
- The purpose of this role is to analyse all trade related data, compiling detailed sales reports to optimize implementation of sales strategies.
Requirements:
- BCOM in Marketing/Business or Equivalent.
- Need to be able to monitor markets and formulate trade ideas.
- Need to be able to support in leading sales team sessions to explain sales trends and new strategies.
- Assist in implementing budget changes, re-allocation of funds to save costs and evaluates results.
- Assist Sales Executive with administration for sales team.
- Provide internal customers with accurate analytical insight in terms of key category and brand performance.
- Previous experience in a marketing is essential.
Need to understand the following:
- Business planning process.
- Competitor / Market.
- Forecasting Process.
- Financial Management: ROI, Margin, Mark up, back end margin.
- Excellent excel and power point skills to be able to do pivot tables, charts etc.
