Our national client, a distributor of industrial and automotive consumables to the industry is looking for an experienced, outgoing, sales focused individual to join their sales team in Durban. Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant sales qualification would be advantageous
- Valid Drivers licence is required
- 3-5yrs external sales experience in a technical industry selling to the end-user is a must
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales and profit targets
- Mapping and profiling target markets and customers
- Quality and assess target customers
- Develop strategies and plans to obtain business from customers (new and existing)
- Create and maintain customer database
- Training end users on use of products
- Work with supplier sales and technical reps to develop markets/customers
- Negotiating pricing and tenders with customers
- Communicate market activites, trends and competitor activities
- Formulate and work to a customer call plan / call cycle ensuring maximum productivity
- Internal sales support as required (telesales/walk in enquiries)
