As part of the new OT Infrastructure structure change (Plan & Build), we are lookingfor an OT System Administrator Enterprise Solutions (purely PLAN orientated).This will be for a 12 months Contract based in Johannesburg (Rosebank) with Remote work possible
- Analysis, design and support of all IIT technical systems (Servers, Storage, AD Domains, Anti-virus, Patch Management, Microsoft products) in Anglo American. Duties include initial problem definition and clarification through diagnostic testing and/or instructions from senior staff and follow through to resolution.
- Responsible for all IIT infrastructure and system related maintenance and implementations to ensure the delivery of quality industrial information management services.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Extensive Project Management experience
- Completed IT Diploma/Degree
- MCSE/MCSA/MCITP compulsory
- Dell/HP certification preferred
- Hyper-V certification preferred
- Security certification preferred
- Management experience
- Microsoft Operating System installations, configurations and support
- Hyper-V cluster configurations, designs and support
- Anti-Virus experience in support, design and configuration (prefer Trend Micro, Symantec, McAfee)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix, Backup solutions (Netbackup, Backup Exec), Security Architectures.
- Operate a variety of related Server, Software, LAN and WAN equipment.
- IT infrastructures with experience in Industrial IT or Operational Technology
